Additional Information The XFBBD_BBS software is running on a Linux(Unix) Dell 745 MT server. This is interfaced with the tcpip email/news system run here on gb7cip.ampr.org to allow personal mail and news(bulletins) to flow between the two networks. This system also provides forwarding AX25_BBS and TCP/IP Mail/News from London and South East UK to the rest of UK, Europe, North America and the rest of the World. Also you can use Thunderbird(mail/news) since 2004 to connect to the gb7cip LinFBB 7.0.11 server via the amprnet (and Internet the firewalls have been configured) and use the pop3(6110)/smtp(6025) to read and send your SP(email) to and from the GB7CIP LinFBB server. Also you can setup the Thunderbird NNTP(6119) newsgroup client up to download read/send the Bulletins from this server. Using HF PACTOR, Amprnet wormhole links, wireless (radio) amprnet and NetRom links via the 8 radio ports running at 1200bd, 9600bd, HF PACTOR and Internet interfaces for User one to one and forwarding sessions. 7pserv server To download a file in 7plus format at the BBS prompt.
