There are two options for software to run your wspr beacon:
  * **__[[software-guide-tapr|TAPR]]__** - A downloadable image with minimal tinkering but an **//extremely out-of-date//** OS.  Only suitable for Pi 2, 3, & 4

  * **__[[software-guide-wsprrypi|WsprryPI]]__** - A solution requiring a little work, with a current & updated OS. Suitable for all Raspberry Pi's except the Pi 5.

**The Team behind the WAOARC WSPR kit would recommend the second, WsprryPi option for all installations.**
