Timeframe Task
2 weeks before Determine the date and time of the live event and schedule it in advance.
10 days before Create a catchy and descriptive title for the event that includes the name of the radio club and the skills being showcased.
10 days before Create a promotional graphic that includes the date, time, and title of the event, as well as any other relevant information (such as the YouTube channel name and any guest speakers).
7 days before Share the promotional graphic on social media platforms (such as Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram) and in relevant online forums or mailing lists (such as a local amateur radio club mailing list).
3 days before Send an email blast to the radio club's mailing list, promoting the event and providing details on how to access the live stream on YouTube and Zoom.
2 days before Remind people about the event in the days leading up to it, through social media, email, and online forums.
Day of event Set up a landing page on the radio club's website that provides details on the event, including the date, time, title, and a link to the live stream on YouTube.
Day of event During the event, engage with the audience by answering questions, acknowledging comments, and promoting the radio club and its members.
Day after event Share a recording of the live stream on social media and on the radio club's website, so that people who missed the live event can still watch it later.
Ongoing Encourage people to join the radio club's Discord server to get access to the Zoom meeting and future events.
