Note: 9600bd Modems as based on the RUH Modem design, these are also
compatible with all the Kenwood Transceivers TS2000e THD series with the 
builtin Tasco Radio Modems that can be used to connect to 
gb7cip 1200bd and 9600bd 'ax25 Connected Packet' Radio Interfaces.
Configuration details can be found on the website listed below under
the Technical TAB. 
IN addition there are those using modern DSP Sound Modem digital
system solutions running AX25 to connect to the legacy ax25 and 
amprnet IP network.

This AX25_BBS server can be accessed direct via amprnet TCP/IP network, 
also FBB forwarding over wireless (RADIO) amprnet TCP/IP,NetRom 
and amprnet wormholes are available from this server 
by telneting to  44.131.244.1 6300

GB7CIP-0 LinFBB is compatable with OUTPOST Personal Message Application
and SALLY PMS.

Satellitte database 
is automatically maintain on this server.

White Pages Callsign Database lookup.
SysOps of BBS's system are encourage to update the WhitePages
database at GB7CIP by configuring their BBS system to send
WP generated data to GB7CIP by addressing it as an SP mail
SP WP@GB7CIP.#32.GBR.EURO.

note: ALL SB WP@WW are automatically rejected, as these should be sent
as an SP. e.g. SP WP@GB7CIP.#32.GBR.EURO

Forwarding
The_Nodel_Lord liaises with his forwarding partners to ensure that 
Personal Mail has routes to the distinations.  

You can test the AX25 Personal Mail path to GB7CIP from anywhere in 
the world by sending a Ping message.
As detailed further down in these notes.

Note: GB7CIP does not forward to UK systems that are not authorise
to 'relay-digipeat' send and receive third party mail, bulletins 
over Radio.
i.e. Only forward to GB7### systems or relay via MB7 nodes
over Radio Networks.
That is your Home BBS needs to be one of the 
UK Licenced Ofcom NOV GB7 systems.

New BBS systems that wish to send SP mail towards 
GB7CIP.#32.GBR.EURO. Are advised to forward via
one of my forward partners in your country, Continent as detailed in

As I have nearly run out of forward partner configuration slots.

 
That you only use ONE HOME BBS. Or if you log to another BBS remember 
to SET YOUR HOME BBS with it's correct HA on the Visited Server. 
Otherwise your action will cause your SP Mail to be misrouted 
(lost in a big black hole).

Very usefull too for proving the SP Mail routing. 
Paul G4APL is always interested in SP mailing routing failures to and
from GB7CIP.

Backup worldwide Internet forwarding links and user access via Internet 
Gateways also used in the EVENT of any local VHF, UHF wireless 
links failing.  (Some/Most times it gets desparate)
  
A third system is used for Testing PACTOR and one to one QSO's
normally on 14107.5kHz Dial. CF 14109.0kHz USB
and also 21111.1kHz. Dial CF 21112.6kHz 
Kenwood TS2000e, SCS PTCIIex  Pactor 1,2,3 Controller
(A few more systems have been appearing on the above frequencies)
using P1, P2 put our a CQ CQ CQ PACTOR P1 CALL with your old PK232
KAM TNC.
Some may respond and surprise you)

AMPRNET (AMateurPacketRadioNETwork)
Normal standard amprnet TCP/IP services including nntp news service 
provided since 1997 for UK Radio Amateurs are available via radio from 
the NODE and TCP/IP side of this system. Reconnect to CRGWAY callsigns 
listed above.

Lots of Radio Amateur's are now using the Raspberry Pi's driving a 
TNC(s) as an IP/Node, linked to their home laptops, as part of the
IP Amprnet Regenation project. 

Additional Information
The XFBBD_BBS software is running on a Linux(Unix) Dell 745 MT server. 
This is interfaced with the tcpip email/news system run here on 
gb7cip.ampr.org to allow personal mail and news(bulletins) to flow 
between the two networks.

This system also provides forwarding AX25_BBS and TCP/IP Mail/News 
from London and South East UK to the rest of UK, Europe, North America
and the rest of the World. 

Also you can use Thunderbird(mail/news) since 2004 to connect to the 
gb7cip LinFBB 7.0.11 server via the amprnet (and Internet the firewalls
have been configured) and use the pop3(6110)/smtp(6025) to read and send
your SP(email) to and from the GB7CIP LinFBB server. 
 
Also you can setup  the Thunderbird NNTP(6119) newsgroup client up to 
download  read/send  the Bulletins from this server.

Using HF PACTOR, Amprnet wormhole links, wireless (radio) 
amprnet and NetRom links via the 8 radio ports running at 
1200bd, 9600bd, HF PACTOR and Internet interfaces for User one to one
and forwarding sessions.

FTP (anonymous file transfers) using pftp or ftp -p
     or a web browser with ftp passive mode enabled in tools advance
     option. i.e. ftp://44.131.244.1 via the amprnet only

DX cluster via the DX node command

enter   IPADRREQ  at the gb7cip BBS prompt.
