Riddle 1
The Weekend Ghost,
Gear up before the weekend wakes,
3 Ws to find my signal it takes.
Echoes will float through the evening sky,
Keep a watch as the clouds roll by,
You’ll only catch me if you try.
Expect me all day long too,
I am a ghost until I am found.
2 days of keying up out of the blue,
Old friends will track the familiar voice
Answering stations at a steady rate,
Ready to log me before it's too late,
Catch clustered clues, removing the wait.
Turn up dxheat to find where I sit on the crowded dial,
Look for the wavelength of two scores, and smile.
Here is the riddle. Read every sentence. Read every word.

From Saturday morning through Tuesday night,
Four solid days of my signals in flight.
No need to sit staring at screens till it hurts,
Just catch when I'm active with your Ham Alerts.
Tune down to a wavelength of exactly two scores,
But standard old modes will not open these doors.
To find the right mode, just follow this song:
Just Start 8 Chats And Listen Long.
To decode the whispers and join in the fun,
Run at least version two point three point one.
To uncover the secret I left in the mix,
Add in the group @ W A O A R C 26. Once it is entered, you know what to do,
Query the group for a message for you.

Gather the relics of times long ago,
Building connections with signals that flow.
2 days of heritage out on the air,
Castles and galleries from everywhere.
Honoring secrets the ancestors know.
(Chorus) Your mission is simple, the target is wide,
With history waiting on every band's side.
Just tune up your radio, spin the big dial,
And work any museum you hear for a while.
A ship or a bunker, a gallery hall,
Complete the exchange, and then log their full call.
(Verse 2) A callsign is hidden right here in this rhyme,
But your actual goal is the keepers of time.
From local exhibits to sites far away,
The operators are ready to work you today.
So answer their CQ and send your report,
From a vintage old plane or an ancient stone fort.
(Chorus) Your mission is simple, the target is wide,
With history waiting on every band's side.
Just tune up your radio, spin the big dial,
And work any museum you hear for a while.
A ship or a bunker, a gallery hall,
Complete the exchange, and then log their full call.
