APRS activity is low in some areas resulting in a chicken-egg situation where someone sets up an iGate but doesn't hear any packets, or tries beaconing but isn't heard by any digipeaters or iGates, and ultimately gives up. By focusing activity over a set period hopefully it'll boost traffic, giving everyone an opportunity to gate some packets or have their beacons received by someone.

A week has been chosen so people who are unavailable at weekends can still participate mid-week and vice versa. You don't need to participate for the full 7 days, just as and when you can.

You can participate by:

• Setup an iGate - Consider gating your packets to aprs.2e0sip.co.uk to help get a better idea of coverage etc ( See the Finding other Packet peers )
• Send some APRS beacons. These could be position reports, weather station updates, telemetry or objects.
• Try sending some APRS messages.
