+A suitable cable can be made from a PS/2 extension lead, scrap PS/2 mouse or keyboard. Sometimes with the mouse/keyboard option, not all of the required pins are populated, so may not be suitable. Identify the pins with a multimeter (a croc clip lead is useful here.) Solder a DB9 plug on to the other end as above.

-If you set the width at 500hz the filter slope starts to cut off at about 1700hz which is no good. The shift moves the centre point of the filter up 200hz, the filter gets rid of any AGC reduction from powerful neighbouring signals, like the bottom end of FT4. I only found out by using Fldigi to monitor the signal in the waterfall. Another thing that may help is that I have menu items 064 and 065 set at 1500hz.
