When the frame type is 0x00 the “circuit index” and “circuit id” (first 2 bytes of the transport header) take on a different meaning:
Circuit Index | Circuit ID | Description |
---|---|---|
0x0C | 0x0C | IP over NET/ROM |
0x00 | 0x00 | Record Route (Xnet and BPQ) |
Other values may be in use.
