 Learning to send CW accurately, and at increasing speed requires a lot of practise, using all the characters that could expect to be sent. Pangrams use all the letters of the alphabet at least once, to create a sentence. Using these for practise is useful in that it's often found that a particular combination of letters might be hard to send.
